| | LCD Water Damage, Need Help Hi There, I have A Sony Vaio Laptop, but I split water into the lcd, i have dried it out but the lcd now has bright spots all over it (see attached images)  Is there anything that I would be able to do for example maby disassemble the lcd housing and clean the "optical Layer". Any Help Will Be graciously accepted and also Ps. | | You, as an individual cannot repair the display, you're only hope is to replace it. A company that rebuilds LCD displays might be able to repair it, but it will require replacing some element of the panel assembly itself. Your hope would be to find a replacement LCD unit and change it yourself. A Guy |
