Windows 7: DR0, has a bad block

DR0, has a bad block

Problem, The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block.

SeaTools results:
Short DST - Fail
Long DST - Fail
Short Generic - Fail
Long Generic - Fail

HD Tune results:
1 Error at 0 Mb (LBA 1408)
2 Error at 18 Mb (LBA 38784)



Is there any solution or just a new disc? again WD
Second in last 360 days

Second in last 360 days

If it failed even the short DST I am thiking it is time for a repair or replace. Second this year, I had 5 go bad within 3 months (Maxtor, not WD) when they fail they fail.
