I hope this isn't a 'stupid' question, but what is the difference between Sata & e-sata?

Sata hook up internally & e-Sata hook up with a different external connector.

Again Hard Drive

Thankyou. But my problem is installing a west/dig 1.0TB sata into a Raygo R12-40924 eXtreme encloser 3.5 SATA to USB 2.0. With Windows 7 pro 64-bit, it shows "new device succesfully installed', but dosen't show up in mycomp or anything else. Since they are both new, i suppode one of them could be bad.

Go to Disk Management in Windows and see if it appears. If it does not have a drive letter, assign one to it in Disk Management.
