    Monitors wont turn off

I'm running 3 monitors, 2 of them off of an ATI pci-e card and the other off of an ATI pci card. The problem is, I set my display to turn off after 20 minutes but they never turn off. Is this a known problem or is there a fix?

We need a bunch more info before making a stab at what the cause is. Could you run down the hware specs, and setup for us? Multi monitors not turning off is not comman so I suspect something in your setup.

    Waiting for info

Here are the specs. As I mentioned, I installed a Radeon 4850 dual dvi card and a Radeon 2400 on the pci slot. Running the latest ATI catalyst driver as well. The only thing I see is its showing a generic pnp monitor under display properties. My monitors are all Viewsonic VX922, I tried installing the driver off the website but it wouldnt install for some reason.

I have been struggling with this since the first beta. On my LCD monitors, thet act like they should, but my CRT shuts off and comes back on. I thought it was a problem in "advanced power options" but it still happens. My mom's machine is the same. Her LCD shuts off....then comes back on. I sure hope I can get this figured out. I have tried for months....I think it's a hardware issue...like your mouse can cause it if it "jumps" from time to time. However on my machines, I've tried different mice to no avail.
