MAJOR Disk Issues - Please Help!

I'm trying to restore a system image to my 750gb HDD. I'm unable to do so. /pullinghairout

I'm now getting the following error:

The system image restore failed. No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found.
Prior to that error, I received an Error 0x80042406.

I went into DiskPart. I'm unable to format the disk though under "list disk/volume" it appears and is healthy.

I'm really getting tired of this non-stop disk restore issue.

All I want to do is restore a system image onto my 750gb HDD. Each time I've restored the image thus far, while not excluding disks, the image restores to my 1.5tb HDD, which isn't what I want.

Please help me! Thank you in advance.

You have to have some patience. No one is paid to post here as a job, so if it takes some time to answer, so be it. if you can't format a drive in diskpart, that would tell me there's an issue with it. How are you sure it is healthy? Have you run any diags on it? Have you tried (after making sure you have the right disk selected), run the clean all command in diskpart?

Honestly, given the amount of time you've been dealing with this system setup, I would have just done a clean install quite some time ago. It takes about 2 hours tops. 15 mins to install, and then the rest of the time to update and install your apps.

So I have been very impressed by Windows 7 so far, but I have hit my forst major annoyance. It is extra annoying because it doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone else. Basically, torrents just plain don't work. I started out by installing Azureus which I had been using on XP. At first I could...
