recommend a printer for home

sorry to post this on this forums site, but tomshardware is blocked here at work so i cannot visit the site.

which printer for home do you recommend. my sister is looking for one which can print on every type of paper (normal paper, photo paper, light cardboard).

any recommendations?

I'd recommend the Epson Artisan 725 which is the current model (we have the 710 model which the 725 replaces). Low $100s in price. We print on light cardboard (4-5x thicker than standard paper) that we created a custom size for (it may do thicker than that but have never tried). Ink last longer than my old Canon i950, too. It's perfect for us.
