Not recognizing device
I thnk I may have screwed up. I have a GPS which was working fine whenever I connected it, except that the screen that says what to do with the device (i.e., open the device to view files) was always slow to come up, or it would come up behind some other window, or not come up at all.
I saw a screen with some defaults on what to do with new devices, and I may have changed something on that screen, but I don't know how to get that screen to come up again. how do I do that.
And finally, how do I get my computer to recognize my GPS again? It was working just fine, and now nothing can find it. How do I get my computer to search for new connected devices - I know there used to be a way to do that in XP from the control panel or devices, but I can't seem to find it in 7.
Please help. My GPS is useless unless it can talk to the computer.
