Windows 7: SD and SDHC cards

SD and SDHC cards
I need a 4GB SD card for my Garmin Satnav. All that I can find for online purchase are SDHC cards. Is there any difference please?

SDHC are higher capacity ,some older devices cannot read them ,from the nuvi 250 onwards you should be ok

It is a Garmin nuvi265WT. I have never had any need before now for this type of card. Can I assume that 4 GB cards are all in reality SDHC cards, and that 4GB plain SD cards do not exist?

Yes , they are hard to find nowadays luckily it will no bother you with the 265 it will accept the SDHC card
