which one is better for gaming and price?
Both are good processors with very similar specs. It all boils down to 2 questions: Firstly, can you motherboard take a processor with a 125W rating? Secondly, do you think that the addition of L3 cache is worth the extra $35?
If the answer to both of these is 'Yes', then I would go for the 945 model, else the 640 model will serve well.
If you decide on the PhenomIIx4 why not spend the extra $30 and go for the
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX it is 3.4Ghz and is the Black Edition.

the only thing that bothers me is that the mobo specs dont list the thermal design power.
If you're not planning to do Crossfire, you could go with this one for 1 extra $

About your concern, it supports up to 140W TDP AM3 CPUs :)
the usb3.0 i dont need and the sata 6gbps i dont need either, but for 2 dollars more , im highly considering this mobo.
from my knowledge the sata 6gbs should be compatible with other satas but can you confirm this, and same with usb 3.0 and 2.0?

Yep, standard ATX, plus, for that extra buck, you'll get USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/ssomething that the 790X EVO does not have
