    Tut tut Acronis.

    Try this:

boot the 7 dvd - go to command prompt, type

    diskpart

    lis vol

find drive letter for 200mb partition ( use it instead of z below)

find drive letter for windows partition ( use it instead of y below)

    EXI

    bcdboot y:\windows /s z:

    bootsect /nt60 all /mbr

Don't have any other drives, cards, etc connected.

( When resizing proportionately, Paragon does not resize the msr.)

I had a similar issues when cloning with Acronis. I cloned a 80 GB drive to a 160 GB drive with adjusted partition sizes. Somewhere along the way there was confusion about the new (160) drives geometry. Using TestDisk 6.13b (found on Hiren's boot cd 15), it told me the BIOS was reading the drive to have 240 heads when in actuality it had 255. I changed it in TestDisk, but I also had to change it in the BIOS. I had to switch it from auto-detect to static and change the heads from 240 to 255, then everything worked swimmingly. I hope that helps the next person.
