Need to find a motherboard for an Acer Aspire 5630-6544 Hi,
I need to find a motherboard for an Acer Aspire 5630-6544. I got a Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5200 (1.60 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache) in it.
The motherboard number is : MBAXY02005702017921601
The laptop number is LX.AY30X.055
I can't find motherboard that fit all these specs... On ebay or anywhere... Or one that would fit in this laptop with this processor...
The model 5630- 6544 seems to be out of nowhere...
- Intel Core 2 duo processor T5500
- 15.4'' WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD (16ms)
- Up to 400MB NVIDIA Geforce Go 7300 Turbocache
- 120GB HDD
- DVD-Super Multi double layer
- 2GB DDR2
- 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN
Somebody help me please ! new or use in good condition !
Thanks a lot !
EDIT : In the BIOS, the processor is a T5500 and not a T5200 like on the sticker... !
So this one should fit ? http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Acer-Aspire-...item2c59e6e9a1
I didn't see my 5630- 6544 but all the stock seems to fit for me... Am I right ?

I'm not ignoring you, I just know little about laptops. I believe your processor will work in any MB with socket 479 that is of the size to fit into your case. But getting ports to line up and dealing with propitiatory connections and such things is near impossible. Your best bet would probably be order it from Acer, or use this as an excuse to buy a new laptop. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB . According to the service manual, the FRU is MB.A9302.001 http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/ma..._2490_BOOK.pdf
Do a Google search for MB.A9302.001 or AFL02.001

So, they ask me to repair it. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 64 bit CPU Intel i5 Quadcore Motherboard ASUS P7P55D-E Memory G.SKILL DDR3 1600 (4 X 2 Gb) Graphics Card Radeon HD 5750 Sound Card M-Audio Fast Track USB External Card PSU Antec 650W Hard Drives Seagates Barracuda 1 Tb 7200 RPM |

Yes, that's the part you specified.
I'm not sure what the difference is between the two motherboards, but the one in the service seems to be more available. You may want to use your own discretion or contact Acer to see if there is a difference or if the more available board is a revision. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self-built OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit CPU Intel Core i7-3770 Motherboard MSI Z77A-G45 Memory G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 F3-10666CL9D-8GBNT Graphics Card Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6670 Sound Card On-Board Realtek Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD, Dell 1703FPT Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 1024 Keyboard Logitech K270 Mouse Logitech M705 PSU SeaSonic M12II SS-500GM Case Lian Li PC-9F Cooling Zalman CNPS9900ALED Hard Drives Samsung HD103SJ Internet Speed 16 Mbps Other Info Bose Companion 2 Multimedia Speakers |

Looks like a different chipset (current NVIDIA, replacement Intel). If you get it, you will have to do a clean load - not use the Acer recovery. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number ATX Custom Build 2012 OS Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.10GHz Motherboard Intel DH67CL desktop ATX Memory 10 GB DDR3 Graphics Card Asus EAH5450 series (Radeon) Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, Samsung Syncmaster P2450H Screen Resolution 226BW: 1680 x 1050 & P2450H: 1920 x 1080 Keyboard HP Wireless Elite Keyboard Wireless Keyboard Mouse Microsoft Touch PSU Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W Case Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Cooling stock cooling with added intake fan Hard Drives Western Digital 320 GB sata (boot), Samsung 640 GB sata, Seagate 2 TB sata (data) Internet Speed Comcast Cable business class <=18Mb {averages 12Mb} Other Info Optical drives: LG SuperMulti Blue, HP DVD 1260T
