    Crucial c300 ssd + asus u3s6 sata 3 controller


    Hello i have a problem with boot i bought recently one of the crucial c300 ssd's and since my motherboard doesnt support sata 3 i bought this card asus u3s6, the problem is i cant boot from ssd when i plug it on this card there is an option in bios in boot order for this card but nothing happens it simply wont boot windows 7 when i try to install them it works fine when i plug in a sata2 port but with lower speeds.

    i searched abit for people with same problem with me and i found in this topic
    seems this guy somehow managed to fix it but i cant contact him to ask him.

    I flashed the firmware on mine and now it won't boot anymore. I've tried every version I could find but still no good. I have to say tho, outside of benchmarks I can't tell the difference between running it on SATA 6GB/s and SATA 3GB/s

    UPDATE: I bought a new card and it boots!
