Hey I have a problem with Fatal1ty headset and the sound card from Creative, first of all my mic doesn't work, I tried everything that I could find on the net even formated my PC and installed the clean version of Windows but no luck and plus I can't install anything from Creative, drivers/software for their sound card and headset, every time i try to install i get an Error I-001, does anyone knows the problem?

Also would help to know which card you have as there are different drivers for the different lines of Creative cards.

I tried that but when I search for install.log it doesn't find anything and I'll look up to find info on my sound card, I'll edit my post when I find it

It will hlep us to just be able to look up your sytem specs under My
System Specs in the lower left hand corner of every post.

guys sorry for late response, my sound card is SB 5.1 VX, that is what it says in the device manager
