    I suspect PBCAK here... No offense...

    If you are not over clocking (?) what prompted you to look at your CPU temps?

    There's only one way to see if this is a real problem. Allow the readings to continue to rise. If the readings are real the temps will hit Tjunction and the CPU will shut down.

    Tjct on my Core i7-860 is 99C. Normal idle is 28-35C, max load 80C

    As others have said, screenshots would be helpful.

    Actually I do not know what made it so hot but it seems to stay at 50 now


    But how do I make my processor run back what it should be

    Living in Australia, what is the ambient temperature of your room. Is it hot or do you have air conditioning?

    My suggestion is to take it to a computer shop and have someone experienced take a look at it.

    It's pouring rain, summer and we are currently being hit by 2 category 1 cyclones in various places, other than that about 20
