I discovered I had been posting to the wrong forum. Instead of hardware and devices, I had been posting to drivers. If you have the time and inclination, would you be kind enough to have a look thee and you will see what all this is about.

Your J drive is apparently NTFS, healthy, primary, and active.

What is the remaining problem??

Can you put data on that J drive?

No, when I try to do so I am told that this drive is no longer located on this computer???
