Windows 7: LaCie Sata II 3Gb/s PCI-Express Card 2E

LaCie Sata II 3Gb/s PCI-Express Card 2E

I bought this card to enable me to have 2 Esata ports for hard drive inputs. I went to the manufacturers website and downloaded the latest driver. It seems to have installed correctly as the device manager indicates it is working properly but I cannot see my drives when they are plugged in to this device. (I have plugged the hard drives in and restarted as well as tested plug&play , both yield the same results ... nothing!) I plug them into my computer case esata port and they are seen and work there. The driver is for Vista 64 bit machines. I will be taking the computer into my local computer store to see if they can help diagnose the issue but for now I consider this a device that is incompatible with Windows 7. I will update this when I have more info.
