What happens when you try to install it? What is the error message?

Where did you get the driver and do you know if it is Windows 7 compatible?

I have just looked up your monitor and it doesn't have an audio driver, More then likly this problem is with your onboard Audio Card not your monitor.

The latest Monitor Driver is this for your built in webcam,

what Soundcard are you using or is it an onboard sound card?

I need Either the Soundcard Model number
or
The Motherboard Model Number.

Cheers

Can find enough to see the full specs here,

http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ized-file.html

which leads to this,

Motherboard Specifications, MS-7184 (AmethystM) Compaq Presario SR1520AN Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

and from looking at the downloads for it it has the Realtek HD audio, for which the latest driver can be found here,

i troubleshooted it and it was installing the audio thing, then it had an error. so yeah it did.

the driver should be compatible because before i reformated my computer, my audio speakers were functioning perfectly.

Duong Is your board the Pro or Deluxe?

Only ask as the drivers seem to be board specific
