| | Windows 7 64bit HP 1020 Laser Jet Printer I have a HP 1020 Laser Jet Printer connected to my computer and have had for some months a working well. Suddenly it created a problem with the spooler and each time I tried to print with it, it disconnected the spooler. After some research I found that the problem was rectified by updating the Printer Driver from the HP site. However despite the fact that the computer recognizes the printer and the spooler remains active, I cannot print any documents with this printer. If PDF files are attempted it comes up with a messages saying Adobe reader is not working. There are three other printers, all Ink Jets connected to this computer and are working fine. Has anyone else experienced similar difficulties. I'm just a new 'Kid' on the block,and some clues would be appreciated. |
