I am looking for a remote control that can operate my Pc (not remote desktop control) in the same way i operate my DVD player and TV.
The remote should be compatible with Win 7 and must be RF (as against IR)
Please let me know where i can buy one (online)
I am aware of the ATI Remote Wonder II but it does not fit my requirements

If you can go with IR , then a good one EZ Commander - An innovative I/O solution to replace PC remote/mouse/keyboard/presenter It has a twin IR emitter for positive and wide-angle operation.(you have to search whether it is available with any other vendor. :) )
These are the ones I would recommend based on my personal experience. I have both and use the Lenovo most.
I stumbled across this thread, and found that I have an interest in it also, While I understand that the EZ Commander could sent commands to a player's own hotkeys, I am wondering if either of the remotes can be programmed to open or close a video player (I prefer VLC, but would consider another player, if it could be operated in this fashion. The ad for the EZ Commander has fairly clear instructions, but I can't say the same for the Lenovo. Since you prefer it, what makes it better in your opinion.
Well, with the Lenovo multimedia KB/remote, not only me but all my family folk feel comfortable since they are all used to using the normal mutimedia keyboard and mouse, with their computers except that they can now operate from 10' away. Here familiarity breeds liking instead of contempt.:)
Though I can comfortably operate the EZ Commander, a TV like Remote for a computer is a little bit odd for them. Also it takes a little bit of learning to understand the functions and use it effectively. However simple and easy it is they are not prepared even for a simple effort for that.
This is the reason why the Lenovo takes its place on the coffee table in the living room, where the HTPC is located connected to the LCD TV and 5.1 amp.
And it is for the same reason even the Logitech Harmony Remote sleeps inside with the EZ Commander.. They find it easier to manipulate the associated equipments manually rather than learning to use the Harmony. And all females above all.
Then you are saying that there is NO difference between them in functions, only in the method of executing them? Is there not anything beyond this and style preference differing between them?
If you look into deeply, the EZ Commander can be mapped to different media players that you may use, though by default it is mapped to Windows MCE/WMP.
Since we use only MC/WMP it does not make any difference to us.
I've been reading some of the comments on these, and for the most part, it seems that the complaints are fairly subjective, but there was one of note for me...the Lenovo doesn't have backlit buttons, and as far as I can tell, the EZ Comander doesn't either. That would be a strong point for me in deciding about a remote, because I would want to use it easily in a dark room.
What is that laser button for on the EZ commander...a pointer? Can't think of any use for that, unless one is using it in some kind of presentation.
Yes, not having backlit buttons has been the grouse with many. But when you use an LCD TV, one does not view in dark. So this has not been a botheration.
That apart, one disadvantage with Lenovo is that one cannot clean the trackball whereas in the EZ Commander cleaning the trackball is easy, just like you used to clean the old rubber ball mouses. But if one has a clean and non-dusty environment one need not be overly bothered about. Since our environment is always dusty, we cover the Lenovo religiously when not in use.

Yes, it is also popular and you could have gone straight to the Rii KB from the Amazon.com lenovo KB link (Rii is mentioned at the bottom) and could have read the user reviews. Connection range problems, low battery life are some complaints.
Personally, I prefer the trackball to touchpad mouse, with which I had never been comfortable. And Lenovo is easier to hold than the rectangular Rii.
If you could visit some of the retailers who have both in stock and try them in flesh and bone that will be the most preferable.
