Windows 7: battery problem

battery problem

I have a laptop. i install windows7 in it. aafter insatlling it, i have a problem in my Power plan.

my PC is turn off after running on battery.

a blank screen displays and then turning off.

how can i correcti it?

Hi maifs welcome to SF, can you give use the Make and Model of your laptop and fill out your System Specs in your UserCP so we can help you out more.
Also do you have the latest firmware on your laptop for BIOS and all updated drivers and windows updates?

my OS is Windows7 and pc is a Gericom Humer Advance 2640 DVD+RW.

16bit soundblaster pro competible + AC 97 CODEC , Micro, Stereo Speakers ,

smart Li-Ion 6 cells or 8 cells (4000 mAh)

Are you complaining about a shutdown problem or a battery problem?

At this point it might just be easier to upgrade to the most recent build its 7260 (32 bit) and it might cure uour porblem

Battery Problem
Since I installed Windows 7 RC1 on my PC, I started having a problem related with my Sony Vaio VGN-FE41S battery. When I insert it, my computer displays an error saying that the battery is incompatible and the computer will hibernate because of that. Any solution?
