PSU question

    PSU question


    Hi everyone,

    I have a couple questions.

    Will this PSU fit this case, and is the PSU sufficent enought for my GPU

    PSU: Ultra LSP650 650-Watt Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, SLI-Ready, 135mm Fan, Lifetime Warranty w/ Registration at TigerDirect.com

    Case: Cooler Master RC-310-BKR2 Elite 310 Mid-Tower Case - ATX, mATX, 420W PSU at TigerDirect.com

    GPU: ZOTAC ZT-40301-10P GeForce GTX 465

    That is a standard ATX case, so any standard ATX PSU will fit.

    So, it will fit.

    You do realize that case comes with a power supply already?

    You should be OK with those, providing that the PSU has the correct connectors. :)

    The PSU that comes with the case dosen't have enough power for the graphics card that I'm getting, and thanks for the quick answer.

    Were it me, I would get a modular PSU, so that there wouldn't be any extra cables dangling around inside the case.

    I was considering that, but I ended up factoring price over looks.

    Something i have had to do for a while now, though with a bit of cable management you can still get it looking pretty respectable.
