According to Bloomberg (via Businessweek), HP CEO Leo Apotheker asserted that “every one of the PCs shipped by HP will include the ability to run WebOS in addition to Microsoft Corp.’s Windows.”

It is a lot like the netbooks out there that can book into XP/7 or do a quicker boot into a small linux distro or android. Good idea in theory, but on most new laptops and netbooks, the main operating system boots so quickly, why bother?

I predict that we will see of this multi boot in the future. Especially once the PCs run on ARM processors. The interesting part would be to get at the applications of those other Operating Systems - e.g. Android App store.
