Windows 7 - Mouse only works after restart.

| | Mouse only works after restart. How come if I restart my computer, the mouse works, but if I plug it in any other time, it doesn't work. How can I fix it without rebooting?!?! Thanks |

| | It is a USB mouse. If I restart right now and plug it in within a few minutes, it will work. I don't want to restart though. |
