    Check your cooling, clean out the dust and replace the thermal paste :)

    Check per Yowanvistas posting.

    Also make sure the CPU fan is actually turning.
    It should be running wide open with those temps.

    i7 is brand new, no dust, fresh thermal paste. i took it off, and put it bak on and im running around 50

    The cooler wasn't seated properly or too much paste can be a problem.

    That happens some times and is hard to detect on install. Just a little crooked or off center or not quite tight enough on the screws.

    I did it before. Cooler moved while putting screws in and I didn't realize it.

    Glad your running lower temps.

    They should drop as the paste sets over the next day or so.
    Keep an eye on it.

    yea thought so too :S i hate push pin coolers i love using srews, then i an make sure that its centered

    push pins! They are definitely a pain!

    Everything wants to move just when you need it to be perfectly still!!
