Blue tooth Problem

I bought a new phone (Samsung C3050) and uploaded some files and pictures onto my Dell laptop all worked fine. For some reason I turned off the bluetooth on my laptop and couldnt find how to turn it back on. After searching for hours I found a thread which led to Dell's website to download a driver (R159805) which indeed turned back on the bluetooth. However now I cannot send photos from my phone now. When I look in the listed devices on my phone both my computers are shown but when I try to send a file by bluetooth only my mac appears in the list. After searching it will not find my laptop to send it to.
I have tried rolling back the driver, updating the driver, turning bluetooth off and back on. Deleting it from my phone list and searching for it again. All leads back to the same place. An error on my laptop saying please try turning bluetooth off and back on again or re-starting your computer. Nothing works.
Anyone help me with this? I can send files to my other desktop mac no problem but my laptop just wont show on my phones list when sending files but shows up on devices. GRRRRR
