anyone here got SSD hardisks?

    What i'm finding is you need a lot of coffee to keep you up long enough to read all of the stuff written about SSDs. They're the greatest thing in the world then in the next article they slow down too much. Then all the articles telling you what settings to have in windows so they don't wear out (in less than 285 years) I think one is better off just doing some basics like superfetch off and don't use system restore.

    Never mind SSD literature - this forum by itself is impossible to keep up with ...

    Know any Starbucks open 24/7? You'll find quite a few blogs on just about anything including how to tweak Windows for SSDs. As far as the system restore feature I rarely even have use for it since XP! Vista was what a couple of times in 2 full years of use! 7 +1!
