Philips monitors

Have just finished my first build and want a monitor to go with it (23-24") and came across a Philips 244E1SB for AUD$180

Now I know this model has been superceded by the E2SB but has anyone used a Philips before as this looks quite a good deal.

First noticed it when it was $265 - anyone had experience with these as the usual brands seem to have gone stark raving mad pricewise out here.

My Philips monitor has been totally reliable over the 4 years I've had it but the only annoyance was a corrupted monitor profile on the CD and on their website.

OK

Thanks pip I'll keep a lookout for those.

I must say I was surprised to se it come with a disk etc as I just thought monitors were just plug and play.

Ah well progress eh??
