Hi,
When trying to install my Sierra wireless AirCard 880E (PC Card) on my IBM ThinkPad T60 I get the following results:
* Upon plugging in the device I get it listed as two Root USB Hub devices under the "Unspecified devices" category in the "Devices and Printers" window. In the device manager the "PCI to USB host controllers" drivers appear as not recognized (yellow triangle - see attached file).
* Upon installing the latest software and drivers the "3G Watcher" gives me a message of "No devices detected" though the device itself gives an indication of connectivity with the carrier.
* I talked with both support of Sierra Wireless and IBM. Sierra wireless told me that their product is compatible with Win 7 and it probably has to do with the chipset of my IBM T60 that is not up to date with Win 7. A previous version of the device (AirCard 850) works well.
Any Idea? I feel like I tried anything...
Thanks,
Eran.
