Why am I losing pixles? Hello, I'm getting frustraited, I lost another pixle... There is about 3 dead ones around my whole screen, I have only had this computer for 10 months. What causes them to go? I use my computer just about everyday.
There isn't anything that "causes" that to happen per se, it just does with usage. Some won't show dead pixels for years, others could show them much sooner than 10 months. You could always check HP's return policy to see how they handle dead pixels, and if there is a specific number before you can get a replacement.
Why do some cars have issues within the first year but others of the same brand and year last for a decade? When there are hundreds of thousands of that same computer made, some will have early issues, and some will run for years. That's with anything, not just computer parts. I've already ordered 10 of the same monitor and had to send 1 or 2 back because of dead pixels or other issues. Frustrating yes, but nothing to be shocked or surprised about. I would still contact HP and at least find out the clauses for return.
