| | I've had experience with about 5 different tablets in the past, and none are a computer replacement. Having to type on the screen and such is a huge turn off. If I want to just check and see what's playing at the movies, or look at the local news, the tablet is fine. But for a forum site, such as this one, I put the tablet down and go for my laptop every time. I'm not a tablet fan, I've used them at work, cannot justify the spend for one at home. |

| | I have an Android & Windows7 pad - Viewsonic » ViewPad 10 and an iPad2, the Ipad2 is much nicer to use - it's a lot lighter (makes a big difference after a using for a while) and the OS is far better suited to the pad than the OS's I've tested on the viewpad (Windows 7, Android 1.6 & 2.2). But at the end of the day, it's just a pad toy and for real computing I use a lap or desktop. |
