Windows 7: No battery meter showing with UPS installed

So that link only is useful for those who aren't running PowerChute. I think I'll stick to using PowerChute, and in addition to this, I actual prefer not to see a battery icon all the time. I only want to see a battery icon if I'm running on battery, just as a laptop works.

Here is what APC has to say. Not a pretty fix.

User Account Control requires permission before APCSYSTRAY.exe will start upon login after installing PowerChute Personal Edition 3.0

Battery Meter
Have a 1 year old Dell notebook. Just noticed that the battery meter is showing that it's only 49% charged. It shows that it's charging, but from time to time I would check how much and it only shows 49%. How can I correct this problem. Thanks

Dynamic Battery Meter is Unchanging
I've been having an issue with the default windows 7 battery meter/icon in that whenever I unplug my laptop the battery meter will show that I have 100% battery charge up until the battery reaches a critical level and the laptop hibernates. Help anyone? EDIT: Just happened a couple moments ago....

Hello, I have a problem with W7. It's installed on a VAIO FE with dual boot (Vista + W7 32 bit). No problem with installation. Works great. Installed with driver pack for Vista from Sony without errors. Although, once in awhile, the battery meter fluctuates all of a sudden, and reads it up...
