Windows 7: External monitor on T60

How do I enable the external monitor port on the T60? Fn+F7 does not work.

Verify the external display passes any applicable self tests according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Verify the display settings are supported by the ThinkPad video chipset and the external display.

Verify the external display works on another system if available.

Application is what's interfering with it functioning normally.
If it's unused you could remove that app and normal functionality would likely return.
