    Ok

Ok Doc whatever floats your boat I have six fans in mine 3x120 & 1x140 in and 1x120 & 1x140 out plus the whole front of the case (Coolermaster Centurion II) is one large venting space - live next to a gravel road in a 120 year old house and quite frankly cleaning a few filters rather than muck around cleaning the inside out every other week is my "boat" lol!!. Plus I don't get to knocking things around in the works.

Now everyone seems to be thinking that stockings are the best but they are going to clog real quick in my view so truly take a look at the tulle you'll see the difference.

Anyway was only trying to be pro-active and it is such a simple fix but I suppose each to his own eh?.

I am using the two 120mm over the case doors on my P-180 and the restriction hasn't raised the case temp one degree but has stopped a hell of a lot of fine dust and keep the filter behind the doors clean which is what i wanted to see how much smaller dust these Demciflex filters stopped, I have tried all the other stuff, the hose, furnace filter etc, and no filter and a pc to clean after running no filters really has to be taken apart to be cleaned properly when no filter are run about every month in my house. I am going to at least finish outfitting one of the P-180's with the rest of the intake filter and see how the dust is inside the case after a month. The filter now after 2 weeks need to be cleaned or are getting close to being cleaned will watch the case temp have indoor outdoor temp units installed on all my systems so i now what the outside temp's are and the inside temp's of the case. I try to keep positive pressure inside case also to help with dust.

I can't be bothered with the fuss of filters, changing/replacing bla-bla-bla... I run my PC "naked" (filterless) and let the dust in. I agree, i smoke, I live in my bedroom, I have cat and a couple of dogs... but my PC gets its monthly clean.
And I can't be bothered with the fuss of a monthly clean anymore :)

That's my new boat as well

I used to do the monthly inside clean, wipe the fan blades etc - but when you have a total of 14 individual fans (case, CPU, GPU) - it got old fast.

I run without a side filter during summer because of temps, do a 'big' inside clean and then don the DEMCi side filter during winter.

Then it's just minor maintenance of removing the filters every now and then for a quick wash, overnight dry with a much quicker end of winter inside clean vs every month ... I know what suits me better.

Now everyone seems to be thinking that stockings are the best but they are going to clog real quick in my view so truly take a look at the tulle you'll see the difference.
It depends on how you apply them I guess. Stockings vs other filters each have their own pros and cons.

They do clog very quickly indeed. But a quick vaccum/dustbuster for a while until you simply replace them is a relatively quick and easy method. But that gets old after a while as well. The cost also adds up.

That's why I personally went with the DEMCi kit for my case. A one off $$$ cost, but they are so damn easy to clean, and are more effective than stockings. Plus they look a lot better

As I mentioned eariler, the only downside is the reduced airflow, but it's a worthwhile trade off and largely a non-issue in winter with the cooler ambient temps.

Had I not already gone the DEMCi route, I'd have seriously considered the tulle.

I used to go for filters and a monthly clean with a little paint brush and cloth, but soon got bored with that lol. So now its fine mesh grills on the outside and as much free space as possible on the inside so that any muck that gets blown in can blow right on through!! Then when I feel up to it (maybe 3 times a year) I use a plastic hose with brush attached to the hoover and give it a quick once over. No problems

Ps what a waste of good stockings
