    Netgear installation problems

    Hello.

    My (steeply technically challenged brother) has an optiplex 745 (slim) running Win7 32 bit. I need to install this Netgear driver on the computer. The hardware is already inside the computer as a PCI chip. It ran fine with XP, but when I installed Win7 for him, it destroyed the driver. The driver hosted by the site will not work;
    I start the installer, install the driver, and it then tells me to put in the card and the installer will then tell me what to do then. I turn off the computer, and restart it, hoping it will think I added it. ... . nothing happens.
    I've tried removing it and putting it back in, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, and the combination of the two. upon looking into Task manager, there is a proccess that says its for netgear, but nothing happens. it sits there.

    I desperatley need help, as if I don't get my brother's internet working, I won't be able to use my new HP laptop I recently ordered from school (parent's orders.)

    kthxbai :)
