Spanned disks & new mobo install

Ok, it's been 2 years now and I finally bit the upgrade bullet. I will be installing a new mobo, cpu, ram, and of course my current version of win 7 x64.

My only question is, will my spanned volumes survive and be recognized by the new system?

I have 4, 2TB drives. 2 are in the pc, spanned (by win7 device manager) to 4TB drive.
The other 4TB span is in a eSATA raidbox.

I have reinstalled windows before and the span was recognized, all data intact. But now I am wondering since I am upgrading to a new mobo, should I be worried?

    Thanks guys.

I want to say it will be no problem, but I'd do a System Backup just in case. It sounds like you have plenty of storage for it.

    YES IT WORKS

Installed new mobo, cpu, ram. After installing win7 I plugged in the rest of my HDD's and it recognized the spanned array in both the internal drives and the raid box! All data intact.

What was really strange was that after I completed the build, I only hooked up the Drive that Windows and my programs were on. Under windows drive management, it shows my previous spanned arrays. It said "Failed" under all of them of course.

How did it know I had these arrays? The hard drives weren't even plugged in and it was a fresh copy of windows. Strange indeed.
