Can I make the keyboard backlight light up automatically?

Can I make the keyboard backlight light up automatically?

    At every restart at least!

I would like to make it light up between 6 pm to 6 am, and not light up between 6 am to 6 pm , but all I want for now is to light up at every restart.

Well, depending on what keyboard it is, I would imagine that if it lights up in daylight hours (extrordinarily usefull that is ) some gamer/modder whatever has modded it.
I'd google it and see whats floating around re mods for your board..

    Thank you.

I didn't even know about the keyboard mods.
(Yes, ASUS G72 is a "Gamer" but I do not have 1 game installed. I got it for its performance/price)

I will check google, and let's see if there is any solution, and post back with the results.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a backlit keyboard. Had to change a Sony specific Registry entry from hex 10 to FF so that that it stays lit all the time and would not drop every 10 seconds. Maybe you can find the registry entry that controls your backlight.

Is that Weissensee near Erfurt? I was born south of Dessau, but now am in the Black Forest.

Nothing so far. F3 and F4 controls it already. I mean it is already integrated into the keyboard by F3 and F4. Other than no option or no software to make it always on at restart. I checked the G72 Owners Forum, but nothing so far.
