| Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit 1 posts | Laptop Windows 7 CD DVD rom not playing DVDs or CDs Im trying to fix a DVD issue. Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-7580S SATA. The dvd rom will not read any dvds or cd. The problem is that i already removed the upper and lower filters using regedit.exe. Also tried Mr Fix It by windows both the upper and lower fix, and hardware device fix. All the issues to me seems like the drive is going bad but i want to make sure its not a registy error or a software conflict. Please Help. The Computer is a Acer Aspire 5542-1051 with windows 7 64 bit, 3.00 GB of ram.I already did a bios update and a firmware update on the dvd rom. NEED HELP!!!  |
