| | lost storage drive I did a windows update when the computer rebooted my 750 gig storage drive (F) is no longer there. I tried to do a system restore it cannot restore. I rebooted entered the bios no F drive. I'm at a loss what to do next does anyone have an idea? |

| | Is this an external or internal drive? Was chipset or SATA driver updated? |

If it's not there, start with the easy stuff first, like opening the case and unplugging and plugging back in the cables to the drive. If a cable is failing, the drive will disappear and re-appear somewhat randomly after reboots. |

| | Have you opened the case and unpluged and replugged in both ends of the sata power and data cables like FliGi7 suggested? |

| | System Restore to before the Updates were installed. Look in Windows Updates>Installed Updates to see what exactly was installed. Drivers? |
