Hello all, I have a HP2410 printer connected to my Windows 7 machine. The Windows 7 machine sees the printer just fine and has no issue printing. My wife's laptop (running XP) cannot print through the Windows 7 machine. If I boot the Windows 7 machine back to Vitsa, everything works fine. I'm pretty sure it is a driver issue. From what I have read here it seems I need to install the XP drivers under the printers/sharing tab on the Windows 7 machine. I found the driver on the HP website
(drv_gc_w01_ENU.exe) but it also has the all in one software bundled with it. I'm just concerned that executing this exe will install a bunch of software I don't need. Is there a way to find the actual .inf file and install that?
Am I on the right track?
Thanks, Matt
