Note that this may also be configurable in the BIOS - some laptops (especially newer models in the last few years) are configured to not recharge the battery if you haven't discharged it after plugging the machine in <n> times. This is why you need to run your battery down to less than 50% and see if it starts recharging again - simply plugging in your laptop all the time is actually detrimental to battery life/health. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Z400 workstation OS Windows Server 2008 R2 CPU Intel Xeon 3550 @3.06GHz Motherboard HP Memory 16GB DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidia Quadro 600 Sound Card Realtek ALC262 Monitor(s) Displays 2x Hanns-G HG281 Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Keyboard Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 7000 Mouse Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 PSU HP Case HP Hard Drives 1x Samsung 160GB SSD

I want to add one more thing that my laptop is just 10 months old, I just checked the BIOS Setup, BIOS Version and EC version are different. I think they need to be same. Can someone clarify me on this? I used all the solutions on the Google regarding this problem but the problem still persists. It again shows this notification after charging to 99%. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba C650 OS Windows 7 Ultimate N CPU Core i3 Memory 3 GB Graphics Card Intel HD Graphics |
