    Battery problem

I replaced my dell battery. All volts ect were exactly the same. Worked fine for a month or so. Now the indicator says bat has 100% charge (if I remove bat the indicator says “no battery, reinstall and says 100% charge) but when I remove power cord computer does not work on battery.

    Welcome to SF

What model computer do you have?

This will help in the diagnostics.

Ok because the serial numbers that were above were recaled by dell so you would just get a new one.
Do you have the drivers and programs disk that came with the computer because it has a diagnostic tool that allows you to check your battery and it will run a series of tests.
If you have the disk insert it and shut down then when you turn it on hold the C key and it will boot into the diagnostic program to check for battery life
