Is it ok if i use 2 type of Ram?

Today i buy new 2GB Transcend jetRam ram for my PC; now I already connected new "Transcend" 2GB DDR2 800MHz (DIMM) to my PC. And also I'm not remove my old 1GB Kingston DDR2 667MHz (DIMM) ram. Currently both Rams work properly. So are they give me trouble in future? I just install new Transcend Ram. I connected my new Transcend ram near the processor. So is it OK? or its better if i connect old ram near the processor?

    Transcend Ram details (DDR2 Memory 240Pin Long-DIMM DDR2-800 )

    P/N - JM800QLU-2G
    MODULE STRUCTURE-256Mx64
    DRAM STRUCTURE - 128Mx8

    Kingston Ram details (KVR667D2N5/1G)
Kingston Technology Company - Kingston Memory Search - Search Results for: KVR667D2N5/1G

Even though you have a 2 GB Transcend stick of ram rated for 800 MHz, the ram speed will run at the lowest speed of the two (667 MHz) because of the 1GB Kingston DDR2 667MHz (DIMM) stick. Replace the 667 MHz one with an 800 MHz one to increase system speed to 800 MHz.
