    Eject USB Hub


    Hi
    Does anyone know of a program that allows for you to single-click eject a USB hub and which will eject all the devices connected to it safely?

    As I understand you can set the policies of the individual devices such that you dont have to do the "Safe Eject" anyways. But Id like a way to just eject the hub instead of ejecting the 2 drives I have connected to it...

    Windows disables cache-writing to usb devices (drives, sticks, etc). In my opinion, just un-plug it. That's what I've always done. I just make sure the activity light is either off or steady (if blinking means writes/reads are occuring). I've never lost data or corrupted anything in the years I've used USB storage devices.

I'm using win 7 64 bit and every time I try to eject my usb, a message show up informing me that something is still using it. I checked with task manager and find no such thing. I scanned my comp and didn't find any virus. Even if I just plug it in and do nothing, I still got the same problem....
USB eject problem

Why do I have to try to eject a USB drive twice for it to work. Most of the time I try to eject a USB thumb drive I get the message that I can't eject the drive. But when I try to eject it a second time it works.
I have exactly the same problem that Sunil related: I can't remove my Huawei mobile. When I click on "Eject CD Drive", nothing happens. I've already made the upgrades for the modem on the Huawei site. Can anyone help us? Thanks.
Cd-drive does not eject

Hi ! I have Acer 4810TG. If I start computer (turn power on) and press cd drive eject button then it opens. If windows is loaded then it doesn't eject anymore. cd drive ejects when I open MyComputer - Cd Drive - Right Click - Eject. But with button It does nothing. I reinstalled windows 7...
