Laptop battery not charging..
Alright, so I have a Dell Latitude 131L. The AC adapter will power the computer, but it will not charge the battery. I had an extra battery laying around, so I tried that one too..no dice.
On boot, it gives a message saying that the AC adapter isn't recognized as being compatible, yet it will still power the computer even without the battery.
Dell apparently prevents other manufacturers adapters from being used, so I can't test another one. Should I purchase another AC adapter from Dell/internet, or is there another way around this? Thanks in advance for the help!
