Internal Controller
I'm looking for an 4 port internal controller for ~ $50 or less, that permits non-RAID hard and optical drives to function and be bootable, plus would pass SMART data to diagnostics. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
EDIT: Also, I wouldn't mind finding a 2 port external card with the same qualities.

Okay, if no answer for the first questions, maybe someone can answer this one. I have found some Highpoint controllers that says that they have a port multiplier that permits it to control 10-20 hard drives.
