Laptop keyboard into a desktop?

Hi, I have a laptop keyboard with a simple in and out plastic conector. Is there anyway I could convert this to a usb device?

advanced answer:
most laptop keyboards have a ps/2 controler in them so with some extencive moding you could get it to ps/2 and then convert that to usb but after time and effort you put into that it would be more cost effective to just buy a differnt keyboard.
