Cordless Mouse Losing Range - Stumped

    Hi Guys

I have a Logitech Cordless Internet Pro Combo and for some reason
just out of the blue my mouse only, has lost its range. My mouse will
only work 1 foot from the receiver. Prior to this, it has always worked
    4-8 feet away.

All my device drivers are up to date, batteries are new. I am stumped
on this and asking if anyone can figure this out. Any help would be
    greatly appreciated.

Could be a problem with the antenna in either the transmitter or receiver. Try plugging them into different USB ports.

Does it do the same thing in safe mode? if no might be a driver.

hi steeve, and welcome to sevenforums,

have you recently bought any new devices which may possibly interfere with the signal?

Thanks for the replies. I have no new devices that were purchased recently that would intefer with the device. I have tried all the other USB ports and still the same issue.

I will try it in safe mode and see if the problem is a driver.

have your neighbours recently bought any new gear which could interfere/swamp with signal? :)

i don't know what frequencies these things work at, so it may be a possibility.

I just tried another cordless mouse that is working 100% but the problem is that I dont like it because the left mouse click requires a great deal of pressure to click and well...that is annoying.

So now it looks like the problem on the other mouse is not driver/Pc related

Maybe I can find a way to loosen the left button click.

Real simple: Batteries? Have you checked?

    Nevermind.....
