    Upgrading Lenovo Ideapad Y550 CPU.

Hey I just want to know that is my laptop CPU is upgradable? My model is Lenovo Ideapad Y550 and the CPU is Intel core 2 duo T6600 2.2 GHz.
From this link I found that it is upgradable ncompservices reviews: Lenovo Y550 4186 - Processor and Hard Drive upgrade - A potentially very inexpensive gaming laptop.

Main reason for upgrading is that it CPU is bit slow 2.20 GHz so I want to upgrade it. Which mobile processor which you guys suggest that is compatible with my laptop? I really want to upgrade. And also the link which I provided has image corrupted so I can't see the whole tutorial. Anyone please help me.

And yeah one thing that I must told you that my laptop CPU hasn't soldered to the motherboard unlike most of the laptop so I think it is replaceable.

    Thanking You,
    Ravi

Although many laptop CPU's are not soldered and can (theoretically be replaced by the end user) your BIOS may not be able to handle the upgrade. I would be careful in attempting such an upgrade as you may render your warranty void as well as make your computer nothing more than an expensive paperweight.
