Access to HDD

So I reinstalled Win 7 on my PC and now can not access the D: drive, even though Win 7 sees it. As you can see in the first screenshot, Win 7 sees all 3 of my HDD (C: D: and G: )

Yet when I click on the D: drive, I get nothing (2nd screenshot).

Any idea why it will see the drive, but not let me access it?

If you right click on D: drive in Disk Management can you get a Menu & choose Explore ?
