USB/sound problems with Win 7
I've had a pretty easy experience with win 7 until this past week. I reinstalled Windows 7 after upgrading my CPU to an Intel quad core.
I attend a Spanish class online and use a usb microphone for class that suddenly quit working and I lost all vocal communication with pal talk.
I tried changing mics, reinstalling win 7, reinstalling usb drivers but was dead in the water. After doing the troubleshooting I thought that it could be a hardware problem with my EVGA 780i mobo but before rma'ing the board I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled vista 64 bit. Now everything is perfect for the moment.
I hope the guys at MS are trying to improve the program before release. I guess I'll continue using vista for the present time and hope the bugs in 7 get worked out.
